Dx-Project Family

SARS-CoV-2-Diagnostics

Based on the self-funded PEPTIDE-Dx project, we are addressing the question of whether research of diagnostic value can be generated from our peptide data.

It all started in 2020 with the investigation of SARS-CoV-2 antigens. The results of these investigations served partly as a starting point for several other projects on COVID-19 diagnostics, which are or were funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. They deal with the collection of suitable study material of SARS-CoV-2 infected persons (VALIDATE-Dx), the correlation of genetic profiles with the disease course of COVID-19 patients (EPI-Dx), new approaches for the detection of acute infections (TRAVEL-Dx, DIRECT-Dx) as well as the recording of the immune status of recovered and vaccinated probands (BEAD-Dx). Their focal points thus complement each other in a “diagnostic puzzle”. The IMDB supports the project partners in coordination, planning and public relations. Learn more about the projects:
